Explanation of The Internet and the equipments

What is internet?

Internet is a networking that can links or can be access by anyone using different type of technology gadgets such as computers or mobile phones around the world to transmit data using the standard Protocol (IP). Nowadays people define internet as a important tool that can give a lot of information or a fast way to communicate with others which can be use at any time and anywhere as long as there is a signal network around that place.

Why is internet important to us?

Just like how I mention from above, Internet can bring a lot of benefits to everyone such as when a students need to do their assignment, with the help of the internet they can now collect data much faster rather than going to the library and look for the right books that contains the information they need. Meanwhile for Business organization, internet are the most major things that the company need to dominate. This is because, it allows them to do an easy business research to sell the latest trending items that has a high demand in the community. Internet can also helps undergraduate to search for a proper job career that they can link theirs skills with the selected jobs.

What are the items that are needed when using the internet? 

the majority requirement of using an internet in Brunei are:

• a modern gadget such as computers or mobile phones.
• when the user are using dial up access. Then they may need to have a telephone line and a modem in their place. Although if they don't need to use dial up access, then they should at least have a data line.
• a software that has been created to let the user gain a legal access to the Internet Service Provider
• lastly, an account that the user has register from the ISP (Internet Service Provider) which enable them to access an internet.

there is only one ISP company Brunei which is known as Telecom Brunei Berhad or most Bruneian citizen called it as Telbru.
